Get ready, get ready, get ready! The Washington, DC Chapter is thrilled and honored to host the 42nd Jenkins Family Reunion! We hope you are just as excited and are making plans to be in attendance.
Included in this packet is the itinerary for the 42nd Jenkins Family Reunion weekend events.
Friday, 07/26/2024
6:00pm – 9:00pm Meet/Greet (Attire: Casual)
Saturday, 07/27/2024
9:00am – 1:00pm National Museum of African American History & Culture Tour Transportation will be provided (there is a $20 bus fee per person)

The host hotel is The DoubleTree by Hilton. Our family group rate starts at $149 per night (plus tax). The rate increases depending on room selection.

Telephone Reservations:
This modern hotel is a 1-minute drive from Interstate 395 and 5-minutes from Reagan National Airport. There is complimentary shuttle service to/from the airport.
The hotel offers a café-serving breakfast and lunch (at cost), a revolving rooftop lounge offering locally sourced dishes, and a lobby bar with a simple menu, as well as a market with grab-and-go fare. Other amenities include 30,000 sq ft of meeting space, a fitness room and a business center.
Hotel Reservation cutoff date is June 1, 2024.
All donations for the Jenkins Family Reunion Scholarship Fund should be received by June 1, 2024. If you need information on how to apply for the scholarship, please refer to the Jenkins Family Web page at: http://www.jenkinswebpage.com.
